English- Spelling test. Can you do better than you did last week?
Arithmetic-Week 11 Friday
Maths- Interpreting block diagrams.
Topic- This week we have been learning about oceans. Today I would like you to Do a painting or a picture of animals and plants living in the Pacific Ocean and label them. Or colour and label the picture provided.

Arithmetic-Week 11 Thursday
Maths- Recap on the work yesterday on pictograms. Today we will be learning about pictograms again and interpreting them by answering questions.

English- Look at the picture. Answer the questions and write a story based on the picture.
Arithmetic-Week 11 Wednesday
Maths- Recap on the work yesterday on pictograms. Today we will be learning about pictograms again. Get the children to make their own. Tell the children that each fruit represents 1 not 2 like it says on the sheet.
Topic- Today we will find out how are animals and plants are adapted to living in the Pacific Ocean.

English- Complete the bat comprehension. Read the information and answer the questions on the back of the sheet.
Arithmetic-Week 12 Tuesday. Today’s arithmetic might be tricky as I’ve put fractions and division in and the children aren’t confident in these so it’s ok for these questions to be missed out.
Maths- Recap on the work yesterday on Tally marks. Today we will be learning about pictograms. Teach the children that a pictogram is a chart where we use pictures to represent amounts. Get the children to answer questions about the pictogam.
Topic- To identify and name animals and plants in their habitat, the Pacific Ocean.

English- Write sentences for your new spellings.
Arithmetic-Week 11 Monday
Maths- Teach the children how to do tally marks when counting things. Get the children to complete the tally Activity.
Topic- Where is the Pacific Ocean? Tell the children that today we will find out where the Pacific ocean is. Use the powerpoint below to help teach the children about the seven continents and five oceans. Get the children to then complete the activity - To name and locate the world’s seven continents and five oceans.
