Fine and Gross Motor Skills
Please see the attachments below to support your child with their fine and gross motor skills.
Fine motor skill difficulties may be shown through your child struggling with their handwriting, difficulties holding a pen and any other difficulties with hand/finger activities.
Gross motor skill difficulties may be shown by a child struggling to balance, hop, skip, jump or move with control.
Motor skills develop with age and most children have good fine and gross motor skills by the time they reach Key Stage 2. If your child is having difficulties, or has had fine/gross motor skills targets before from school, please feel free to use the resources below to support them in developing their skills
