Social emotional health (SEMH)
Our pupils who experience a wide range of social and emotional difficulties display a range of behaviours. Our job is to make our children feel as settled and comfortable as possible through this difficult time. We have listed a few activities and resources that you can use with your child below which should help.
ADHD Pupils
Make sure that your child has a quiet and calm area to work at home. The fewer distractions the better (away from windows or doors). Give your child a fidget toy if this helps them. Remind them to use their toy sensibly. You may want to use some of the strategies or resources in the communication and interaction tab.
