Curriculum Enrichment
At Primet Primary School we understand that children learn best when they are engaged, inspired and have first hand experience of what they are being taught. A variety of different ways are used to bring our broad and balanced curriculum alive such as:
- Visitors
- Visits
- Outdoor learning within the school grounds
- Practical Investigations
- Role Play
- Themed weeks for a class or the whole school
We love to celebrate our learning with members of our community through the use of:
- Celebration Assemblies
- Class Assemblies
- Concerts and Plays
- Showcase afternoons
- Parent/Pupil competitions.
Please make sure that you regularly view class pages to see what exciting learning has been taking place.
The school also offers a range of extra curricular activities that take place at lunchtime and after school. The children get to try and develop interests and skills in a range of different subjects and have the opportunity to develop different life skills such as:
- confidence
- resilience
- empathy
- leadership
Such activities have provided the children with opportunities to represent the school at a local and National Level in different sporting fixtures, choir concerts and where they can have a voice and talk about the issues that mean a lot to them at local and school council meetings.
