Writing

The topic for English this half term will be Keneth Graham's Wind in the Willows.  We shall be reading the iconic book and writing a biography for a character from the text.

Geography - Study of Rivers

This half-term's topic, we will be studying rivers. This will include how rivers are formed, naming parts and features of rivers, major rivers of the UK as well as major rivers of the world. We will also be looking into how rivers have been used historically and currently.

Science  - Sound

We will be looking into how sounds are created. How the pitch of the sound is related to the frequency and how different materials affect the speed of the soundwave.
